Proposed FEMA FIRM maps
(this may impact your flood insurance)
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is in the process of a multiyear study of our floodplains. Sometime in 2012 FEMA will be finalizing a new Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM). Some residents will be relocated in or out of the floodplain. Warwick Township has already notified the property owners by mail that are affected by the proposed FIRM map change. If you have received notification, and you do not agree with the proposed change, you may appeal the proposed map to FEMA. You may contact Kyle Seckinger at Warwick Township for more details.
Whether you are in or out of a floodplain, flood insurance is never a bad idea. A fifth of all floods occur in homes that are not located in a floodplain.

All home occupations in Warwick Township require a permit before they may legally operate. The application may be found here. Examples of common home occupations are: computer consultants, tax accountants, contractors, or any other business which requires a home office. Please contact the Zoning Officer if you have any questions.
A deed is a legal document showing transfer of ownership between two parties. Deeds showing a transfer of ownership for properties within Warwick Township are required to be recorded at the Township level. Every deed, since January 1st 2010, recorded with Bucks County Recorder of Deeds must also be recorded with Warwick Township. We require a copy of the deed and the deed registration application filled out and submitted to the attention of Nancy Ehrmann-Cheatle at Warwick Township.
