American Red Cross Babysitting Clinic

The American Red Cross is sponsoring a local babysitter course.  This workshop is designed to teach you how to supervise young children.  The course includes teaching how to feed babies, prepare food for young children, how to dress infants and put on diapers, how to select safe toys to play with, how to prevent accidents, how to respond to emergencies, job interview tips, basic first aid and basic CPR.  Please bring a pen and lunch.  Snacks will be provided.  * A participant who misses portions of the program due to lateness, illness or other commitments will NOT qualify for certification.  THIS PROGRAM IS FULL.  PLEASE CALL SARAH PREBIS AT 215-343-6100 x204 TO BE PUT ON A WAITING LIST.

Children's Writing Workshop - NEW

Kidz Art Program

KidzArt is a drawing based art enrichment program for kids that helps build self-confidence and develop problem solving and creative thinking skills.  This Spring we are going on an ART ADVENTURE each week through drawing.  Have fun with toys, laugh with a court jester, spy on a dragon in its den, check out a cat and mouse playing and much more.  You will learn many different drawing techniques as well as experiment with the batik technique and use awesome media such as flair pens and GOLD metallic markers.  Relax and create with our fun drawing classes for all skill levels, if you can dream it, you can draw it!!!  This fee includes a 6 week program.  PROGRAM CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS

KGH Golf Caddie Program - NEW

There's no need to be athletic.  We teach your child how to caddie both in the classroom and on the course.  On the golf course, it's with a golfer.  Its a HUGE hands-on educational curriculum that takes time and patience yet created lifelong career opportunities.  This program will introduce your child to golf.  It'll install responsibility, honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, a work ethic and create exposure to golf.  Caddies can make a good golfer better and we can teach your child this and more.  Imagine the skills and knowledge your child can learn.  Imagine your child paying their own way through college by doing just this!  PROGRAM CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS

Bucks County Baseball Academy - Pitching Program - NEW

This camp offers comprehensive pitching instruction and an arm care/strengthening program.  Video analysis and conference with the athlete and the parent is done at the onset of the camp and at the conclusion of the camp to establish goals and objectives.  The camp's focus is to develop integrated pitching mechanics and a healthy throwing arm, to increase pitch velocity, to refine pitch command, and to develop off-speed pitches.  Activities inlcude dynamic functional warm-up, age specific pitching instruction and throwing drills, arm maintenance training, and bullpen throwing sessions.  For older athletes, medicine balls are used to develop a strong, healthy arm while reinforcing proper throwing mechanics.  Please call 215-345-5565 for more information or e-mail buckscountybaseball@gmail.comPROGRAM CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS

Shotokan Karate Class for Ages 8-88

The Shotokan Karate Association (SKA) teaches Japanese Shotokan Karate.  Our classes have been developed in such a way as to increase strength, flexibility, agility, balance, endurance, and coordination.  Each class will show a marked difference in your self-image and self-confidence levels.  You will learn all this and self defense too.  This class is for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students for 8-88 year olds.  All participants are required to join the Amateur Athletic Union - an annual charge of $14 payable to the instructor at first class.  Register Here>>
