Preschool Programs
Parent/Child Drawing Camp - NEW

This camp involves one parent and one child attending together.  Parent and child will each create their own drawings.  We will begin Days 1 through 4 with a warm-up, to practice basic skills.  Then both parent and child will complete a drawing.  On Day 5 the class will complete one large 11X16 drawing.  This is a great opportunity to show the parent the YR techniques they can reinforce at home.  Lots of information and demonstration.  PROGRAM CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS

"Jaws, Claws, Talons and Paws" Preschool Nature Camp - NEW

Many predators have special weapons that help them catch, kill, and eat their prey.  Wolves and jaguars use their strong jaws and long teeth.  Hawks and owls have no teeth, but they do have powerful sharp talons on their feet.  We'll discover the tools of the trade of these more fearsome and fierce animals by examining the features and techniques of special predators: the speedy sprinters, fast flappers, long leapers, heavyweight champs, and those ever popular predators of the past, the meat eating dinsoaurs.  Join us for this exciting prowl about the park.  (4-day camp)  CAMP CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS

"Enchanted Troll Valley" Preschool Nature Camp - NEW

Bramble the Troll guides us through Enchanted Troll Valley, where many fascinating mysteries await.  We'll use special tools to find the Hidden Ones, see Animal Beginnings, learn some of the Songs of the Forest, and even discover the trolls hidden treasure called the "Wasm", and how important it is to all Living Thngs.  Among the special gifts found and unearthed are Semi-precious stones given to each participant.  Register Here>>

Preschool Gymnastics Program

Involve your children in an Olympic Sport designed to provide a fun, challenging and supportive environment concentrating on the fundamentals of gymnastics.  Every apparatus (bars, beam, floor and vault for girls, including pommel horse drills and rings for boys) will be covered throughout the classes including trampoline drills.  Watch your child's strength and coordination increase along with their self-confidence.  The price includes 10 class sessions.  Register Here>>

UK Elite Petite Soccer Camp

A fun introduction for 3, 4 and 5 year olds to the world of soccer through activity based programs year round.  The emphasis is on a "Games Based" approach to coaching soccer within a fun learning environment.  All camps meet at the large pavilion (by the playground) at the Community Park on Meyer Way.  ALL SESSIONS CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS

USA Soccer Squirts

Preschool Shotokan Karate Program

The Shotokan Karate Association (SKA) teaches Japanese Shotokan Karate.  Our beginner classes have been developed specifically for children ages 4-7 years.  Each class will show a marked difference in your self-image and self-confidence levels.  The price includes 8 weeks of classes.  Register Here>>

Intermediate: Preschool Kids Shotokan Karate Class

The Shotokan Karate Association (SKA) teaches traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate.  Our intermediate preschool class is the second level in karate training process.  It is for the karate-kas (students) who have been in the beginner class and have obtained 1 - 2 stripes.  It is developed specifically for children ages 4 - 7 year olds to further increase their strength, flexibility, agility, balance, endurance, and coordination, as well as learning self defense.  the price includes 8 weeks of classes.  Register Here>>

SNAG Beginner Golf Camp

"Beginner Golf" is the perfect way to be introduced to golf.  Your children focus on the basic fundamentals of the game.  Full swing, pitching, chipping, putting, rules, and etiquette are covered.  Children will receive over 10 handouts/worksheets to solidify their learning experience.  Think of this program as "tee ball for golf".  Students are broken into groups according to age and ability.  PROGRAM CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS

USSI Multi-sports Mini's Camp

The half day multi sports camp gives our younger participants the opportunity to experience over 12 sports in a week.  The sports include badminton, bocce, hockey, netball, soccer, volleyball, parachute games, baseball, cricket, handball, pillo polo, softball, basketball, football, lacrosse, rugby and tennis.  Campers will receive technical instruction in each sport and will then experience the sport in a realistic game situation.  Register Here>>

F.A.S.T. Camp - NEW

Fitness, Art, Science Time.  Get ready for a fun 2 hour class, jam packed with three awesome activities.  The fitness program is an interactive and creative way for children to gain a positive attitude towards exercising while having fun with peers.  Jump, roll, crawl through obstacle courses, freeze dance to music and play games with hula hoops, foam balls, parachutes and so much more.  In science, the children will surely get hooked on the "magic" of science as they witness amazing "tricks".  They will explore basic scientific principles (chmistry/physics/biology) through discovery and experimentation.  In art, children will stretch their imagination as they bring to life their original ideas.  Each class is designed to provide a positive and exciting learning environment for your children to develop confidence in art and science and build healthy habits for a lifetime.  PROGRAM CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATIONS
