Please note that all Real Estate tax bills must be paid before December 31 of

the current year to avoid a lien placed against your property.

What taxing bodies make up our real estate taxes?

There are three taxing bodies.  They are county, township, and school.

Is there an earned income tax in Warwick Township?

Yes, it is 1% of your earned income.  Berkheimer Assc. is the agency that

handles the earned income tax and is located in Perkasie.  The phone number

is 800-360-8989.

What is the formula used to figure out your tax bill? 

Assessment x .001 x mileage rate (of taxing body)  The mileage rate is what

your taxing body charges per 1000 of assessment.

When do tax bills come out?

Tax bills come out twice a year.  County & Township are mailed out March 1st

and due April 30th at discount.  School bills are mailed out July 1st and

are due August 30th at discount.

What happens if I don't receive my tax bill? 

It is your obligation to know when tax bills are mailed out and due.  Please

call the tax office right away to get another copy.

Can I mail my payment on the last day of discount or the face period?

Yes, the tax office accepts postdated mail.

Can I appeal my assessment?

Yes,  The Board of Assessment in Doylestown (348-6219) has the only

authority to adjust your assessment, no your tax collector.
